Enslaved Ancestors Escaped from Maryland

From Lorraine Walls-Perry, August 26, 2003
I have found this website to be fabulously intriguing and informative. My ancestors were slaves in Maryland and later escaped to the Washington County area. I wish a website like this existed telling about slavery in Maryland. My biggest struggle in searching family roots has been trying to find my ggf owners.
Thank you for being so thorough. The information on this site has helped me tremendously.
