LeGree Daniels Honored by Dickinson

From Calobe Jackson, Jr., June 6, 2004

Legree Daniels gets her doctorate. She is a great lady and a great Postal Governor. I have known her for many years. I was lucky enough to be in Washington, DC, 1971, and in attendance when the Postal Board of Governors was established. Mr. Johnson, publisher of Ebony was one of the first appointees. Mrs. Daniels is also the honorary chair of our museum committee.

Calobe Jackson

LeGree S. Daniels passed away in November 2005. Her obituary details her remarkable local and national accomplishments..
