John Harris and Wm Penn throw back sports clothing is sold at the Harrisburg Mall by students of Harrisburg High (John Harris and William Penn were merged in 1972 to form Harrisburg High). It is part of the SBI program at Harrisburg High, and sells John Harris and William Penn memorabilia. One of the shirts for sale there has all the scores of all John Harris - William Penn football games listed on the back side. The store also sells sports materials for all Central Pennsylvania schools.

T. R. McIntosh, just retired from John Harris, after 40 years, and can give you any history. The school is currently undergoing renovations.  Below are pictures of the school as it will appear in 2007.

I think the player that scored on the long run in 1942 was Peters, who lived in Penbrook, but attended John Harris.
