Update on the Magnificent Men

From Chuck Gillens, August 14, 2006 In reply to Ginger, June 1, 2006.

Perhaps I can shed a bit of light on Ginger's requests:

Original members of the "Mag Men" perform twice a year in York, Pennsylvania at what is called a "Party."

In addition to this, there was a reunion concert at the Whitaker in Harrisburg last year. All of the group, except Tom Hoover. were in attendance. Dave Bupp, Buddy King, Jim Seville and Bob Angelucci did perform and it was a great night. This November 25th it happens again.

Dave Bupp's interview was a terrific job. Having known these men for more than 40 years it was truly fun reading David's words. I wish someone would do an in-depth interview with Bob Angelucci. He was the leader of the band. As a self contained unit, the Mag Men were so much more than the three vocalists. (think synergy)

Thanks for your time,

CG

Editor's reply:  Thank you Chuck, for the dates, times, and web sites for more information..
