Memories of the Magnificent Men

From Lynda Kennedy, October 7, 2006 In reply to Ginger, June 1, 2006, and others.

Emailing with a friend of 40+ years spurred me to Google the Magnificent Men. Thanks for the info on where I can once again see the band. I was a Del-Chords fan (Dave and Buddy s previous band, along with Ike and Spike, or course) and saw both bands as much as anyone ever has, from the Dell, the Raven, to NY, to the Uptown, and It was always a time of pure joy. For those few hours, your head was clear of anything else. I hope Dave and Buddy are doing well, for we were also friends.

Lynda K.

Editor's note:  We'd love to hear from anyone with information and memories of the local music spots that Lynda mentions:  Uptown spots, The Dell and The Raven in particular.
