Start your own unique Family
Page on the Internet, linked to the Friends of Midland website and to all of
the databases of the Afrolumens Project. Post your family tree, old
photographs, stories and facts about your ancestors. But don’t stop there.
Include news from present generations, birth announcements, marriages,
photos of children and grandchildren. Promote family reunions. Tell family
and friends about the site.
No web design knowledge needed
No fees
Just send your family
information to us and we’ll do the rest. Fill out some simple forms and mail
or email them to us. Update or change your information at any time by
notifying us. Send additional information anytime you wish and it will be
posted to your family page.
How do I get started?
Look for the Midland Families
question forms, fill them out, and give them or send them to the Friends of
Midland. You can stop there—we will design and post your Family Page—or you
can locate additional resources to copy and send in. Photos, newspaper
clippings, stories, a family tree—all will make your family page more
interesting and valuable as a source of local history.
Do I have to be a member of Friends
of Midland?
No, but this project is
sponsored by the Friends of Midland. It is only through your support that
the cemetery is kept up, history is preserved and projects such as this come
into existence.
