    Notes  Taxed in 1803 for two Negro slaves, and in 1812 for three Negro slaves.  In 1813 he was again taxed for two Negro slaves.  The value of the two slaves in 1803 was set at $16.  The value of the three slaves, in 1812, was $600.  The following year, the two slaves were given a value of $110.

    Notes  Taxed in 1800-1817 for one Negro slave.  In 1808 she was taxed for two Negro slaves.  The value of the single slave was set at $70 in 1800.  By 1804 the value had dropped to $10.  Widow Bryson's two slaves were valued at $100 in 1808.  A single slave was valued at $18 in 1812, and at $75 in 1817.
