60-year old Black laborer, living with Mary V. Noble, a white woman, also aged
60. Moses Anderson listed his birthplace as Pennsylvania. He is
elsewhere listed in the census as a hostler at the inn of Henry Wilson in

Samuel Blackmore was buried on his farm in a family graveyard, now known as
Blackmore's Cemetery. Family descendants have heard that slaves were
buried outside of the family cemetery perimeter. This would be in
