who was enumerated in the1850 census of Monongahela, Washington County, as a
60-year old Black laborer, living with Mary V. Noble, a white woman, also aged
60. Moses Anderson listed his birthplace as Pennsylvania. He is
elsewhere listed in the census as a hostler at the inn of Henry Wilson in
Monongahela.
