Harrisburg's First Black Cheerleaders

From Beverly Wills, 3 February 2009

I am interested in obtaining information about the first black cheerleaders, Ruthie White and Barbara Brown. I am the activity director for a small black youth football and cheering squad. We will be entering this years Black History Parade and would like to honor and acknowledge these ladies. We would like to have pictures and bios on these women who were the pioneers of the black cheering squads. Please help me to let others know who gave us our start. Thanks in advance for all your help.
