- Bolen, George, Company D, 24th USCI.   Mustered in 15 February 
1865, mustered out with company 1 October 1865 (Bates).
 Burial location:  Lincoln Cemetery, Gettysburg, Adams County
 Notes:  Bates lists this person as George "Boleni."
- Boyer, John, Company D, 24th USCI.  Mustered in 14 February 1865, mustered out 
with company 1 October 1865 (Bates).
 Burial location: unknown.  Born in Adams County, Pennsylvania.  Died at 
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, 4 August 1866, of consumption, aged 26 years and nine 
months.  "He leaves a wife and many relatives to mourn his death."

- Cumpton, Jacob T. / Died / Sep. 6, 1905 / Aged 69 Y. / Co. D. 24 Reg. / U.S.C.T. 
 Unit:  24th USCT, Company D. Mustered in 15 February 1865; promoted to 
sergeant 23 February 1865; mustered out with company 1 October 1865 (Bates).  
Prior to this service, Cumpton served in Southard's Company I, Independent Colored Militia, 
1864.
 Burial location:  Lincoln Cemetery, Penbrook, Dauphin County
 Notes:  Cumpton is said to have been the carriage driver who, during the 
president-elect's journey to Washington in 1861, drove 
Abraham Lincoln in secrecy from his hotel in Harrisburg to a waiting train in Lochiel, south of town.  The ruse was part of a plan to get the 
president-elect safely to Washington in the wake of a plot to assassinate him as 
he passed through Baltimore.  Cumpton was working as a driver for 
stagecoach line owner Alexander Calder.

Bates gives Gordon's middle initial as "C."
- Harmon, Samuel T., 24th USCI, Company F; Mustered in as Private, mustered out as corporal.
 Burial location:  Slate Hill Burial Ground, Yardley, Bucks County
 Notes: Born 1845; Died July 24, 1903 when hit by a trolley. A news item about his death noted "He was known throughout Bucks County as a fiddler at parties."
