    Notes: Hutton registered nine people as slaves for life. See those listings under the Westmoreland County pages. Hutton's daughter Mary married Hezekiah McGruder, and Margaret was the executrix of McGruder's estate when he died in 1788. She inherited the enslaved people from her husband, Richard Hutton, and her son-in-law, Hezekiah McGruder, making her the largest slaveholder in Pennsylvania by 1790.
